The father's voice

Do you hear his voice?

In John 10:25-27 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.  My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

I read this the other day, and it made me ask my self do I know his voice? And to some of you. This maybe a silly question. But that is because you are only looking at the surface. Did you know a synonym of follow is obey? So if we hear his voice, we do what he says. It says they hear my voice AND THEY FOLLOW, THEY OBEY. So do we really hear his voice?

I see in my own life that sometime I get so busy that i forget to listen. It not on purpose by any means. But I have seen it happen, then after wards I'm like God you were telling me to ____________. But I was to busy to slow down and really listen.

This is something I have been praying and working on, I want to be an everyday vessel(we talked about being an everyday vessel in post name.). And to do that I have to hear what God is saying.

I encourage you to slow down, and ask God to speak to you. And keep asking until he speaks.

I pray God would speak to you today like never before!
