How to deal with aggravating people?

I had someone the other day ask "How do you deal with aggravating people?". So today we will be looking at just that!

We all know those people who just looking at them can aggregate you (I have a few). And I decided that the best person to look at for this answer is Jesus himself.

Now that I think about it, he tells us what to do when we engage with people like this in Matthew 5:43-47 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor   and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.  LoHe causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?  And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?”

Jesus in His day had to deal with these aggravating people call the Pharisees, have you heard of them? Well whenever he would engage with aggravating haters, he always did it in a manner that would reflect his calling. He was never rude, or harsh, But loving in everything.

That is the way we should deal with them, we should Love them, And respond with a manner worthy you're Calling, followers of Christ!

As you love them, your perspective of that person will change!!!

So I encourage you to love them and treat them with kindness no matter what! Remember whose name you are wearing!

  1. Again, always grateful for your righteous insights. All enlightened minds seem to think alike. I have been told before, by Buddhist leaders, et al, to pray hard for my persecutors; love to be reminded. Thank you!
